• PDUs de Aprendizaje
• PDUs de servicio que contribuyen a la profesión de Dirección de Proyectos.

Los PDUs de Aprendizaje son frecuentemente adquiridos por tomar un curso de:

1. Categoría A: Socio de Educación Registrado del PMI® – PMI® Registered Education Partner (REP®)
2. Categoría B: Otro proveedor de educación o
3. Categoría C: A través de actividades de Aprendizaje Autodirigido

En futuros artículos se describirán otras formas de obtener créditos PDU de las “Categorías de Servicio” y tenerlos registrados en el PMI® a través del Sistema de Finalización de Cursos y Registro – CCRS (Course Completion and Recording System).

Este artículo se enfoca en la Categoría C: Aprendizaje Autodirigido – SDL ( self directed learning ).

Con el cambio a las nuevas listas de Categorías de PDUs el 1 de Marzo de 2011, hubo un incremento hasta 30 en el límite de los PDUs de Aprendizaje Autodirigido (SDL) en un ciclo de certificación. El límite anterior era de 15 permitidas por sólo 15 horas de aprendizaje autodirigido planificado.
