Part 3 July 29th – From Prioritized Projects to Optimized Portfolio Given Constraints and Risk

Armed with understanding from Session 1 of the use of AHP for complex decisions, project portfolio candidates will be assessed against organizational objectives.

At the end of this session, participants will understand how to priortize strategic objectives and projects that are candidates for the portfolio. The results is a list of portfolio candidates that is priortized in a mathematically sound and organizationally accurate manner.

The session will include a brief introduction to PPM to ensure a common definition, introduce the AHP and software for portfolio selection, identify specific areas of the PPM process benefiting from the use of the AHP and discuss and demonstrate the use of AHP to enhance portfolio decision-making.
