In this Webcast, you’ll discover a basic overview of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), a systematic approach to recognize risks, risk contributions and how technology can assist your risk management efforts.
Risk management has traditionally been a 2-tier structure. The first tier is daily operations where risk is managed by unit heads aided with oversight by internal audit, compliance, and others.
The second tier is looking at risk from a long-term perspective. Here, higher-level executives seek to understand new risks and opportunities, often related to products, market changes, customers, and competitors.
This Webcast explores enterprise risk management and how technology and specifically “the cloud†can assist you in your ERM efforts.
While attending this program is FREE, reservations are required.
Presenter: John J. Hampton is a professor of business at St. Peter’s College in Jersey City, NJ, and from 2000 to 2004 he was executive director of the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS).
