ISO/IEC 42010 describes an industry standard conceptual metamodel for architecture descriptions that refers to key elements such stakeholders, concerns, viewpoints, and views.
In this webinar, the speaker will discuss a proven, practical process for exploiting ISO/IEC 42010 using a formal UML profile for modeling the elements of an architecture description.
Starting with identifying architecture stakeholders and the architecturally-relevant scenarios they find themselves in, the session continues with capturing related architecture concerns and how to use them to design an architecture metamodel and then describe the relevant architecture viewpoints.
Finally, the session concludes with how to implement the metamodel as a custom UML profile and how that relates to architecture modeling tool deployment.
