This presentation will provide answers to the following questions:

  • Is your entire R&D budget spent on incremental product improvements or are you also developing revolutionary disruptive technologies for future growth? Do you have dedicated resources for advanced technology and new product development or are your engineers always putting out today’s fires? Have you developed and maintained a set of technology roadmaps to manage the product development process for future growth?
  • Is there duplication in your core technology developments across your business areas? How do you achieve horizontal integration? Have you developed a robust and balanced product development portfolio that takes in to account product life-cycle, core competencies and emerging opportunities?
  • What is your criteria for portfolio selection in order to accommodate not only near-term product enhancement launches for the core business to maintain market share, but also to nurture new platform launches for future growth while scouting and positioning for emerging opportunities?

Help your business successfully manage the strategic innovation and technology management product development process to profitably grow your business in these uncertain economic times.
