There Are Many Approaches To Take In Project Planning
You may take a straightforward, phased approach using the “waterfall” method, or you may find that the project scope is too poorly defined to use such an approach and instead choose to iterate through requirements and designs to explore possibilities until everyone is on the same page and construction can begin.
Other approaches may include “chunking” your project into waves of delivery, allowing the business to take delivery of some of the deliverables early, and even the often-misunderstood agile delivery approach which combines characteristics of some of these other methods.
