Agile in 2014: A Panel Discussion
Posted by EdmontonPMJan 3
Live Webinar – January 10th 2014, 12:00-1:00 PM EST
Offered by ASPE (REP 2161) 1 Category A PDU – Free PDU
Adoption of new principles has a life cycle.
- First you see groundbreakers,
- Then evangelists (often purists)
- Then pragmatists.
As adoption grows, market forces have impact based on real world needs and requirements. Stay a purist or evangelist too long and the market might pass you by.
Using data from our 2013 Agile Salary Survey and drawing from the 20,000 professionals who have taken Agile classes with us since 2006, we have a wealth of insight to glimpse the direction of Agile for 2014 and beyond.
The goal is to provide specific information to enable you to map your professional development and organizational process plans as they relate to Agile.
In this panel discussion, Moderator: David Mantica (LinkedIn profile) (president of ASPE) will pose questions to three practicing Agile coaches, trainers and professionals.
- Dave Caccamo, (LinkedIn profile) MS. Eco, PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP (VP of ASPE Inc.’s Project Management Curriculum)
- Kelley Bruns, (LinkedIn profile) MS, PMP, CBAP, CSM, PMI-ACP (VP of ASPE Inc.’s BA Curriculum)
- Mike Eason, (LinkedIn profile) Ex-CIO of the American Board of Anesthesiology and real-world adaptor of Agile development practices
Discussions will center on how Agile has changed since its introduction to corporate America in 2001. David will discuss the skills professionals need to become agile, and dig into the agile practices that have added the most value to organizations – including how those practices have been incorporated into non-pure Agile “deployments.â€
David will then conclude the session with Q&A from our audience.
This one-hour investment of time can provide you with a map to guide your own development plan to maximize your earning potential, and you will also get a free PDU.
