What is the future of Social SharePoint?
Social has had a huge impact on our digital world and the business world in recent years.
We are all familiar with Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. Many companies make internal and external use of these Social media for sharing knowledge and communicating with potential customers.
SharePoint, a platform of choice for knowledge sharing and communicating, by using Social features.
Since SharePoint 2010 this trend has been put through with SharePoint 2013, but the acquisition of Yammer has had a huge impact on the use of Social in SharePoint.
During this session we look together at the past, present and future of Social and SharePoint.
Presenter: Jasper Oosterveld (LinkedIn profile) is an active member of the SharePoint community. He is a speaker at community events and Conferences. He is the co-founder of the site SPCNL and the SharePoint Business User Group NL. In February 2012 Jasper received the Microsoft Community Contributor award for supporting the SharePoint community at the TechNet forums. In 2013 Jasper was listed in the top 25 European SharePoint Influencers.
