Changes To Sustainability Can Be Led By
Qualified Project Managers
Economic activities may be threatening our environmental and social resources. In the long run these effects are also threatening our economic prosperity which is unsustainable.
Three Steps to Sustainability offers methods and tools to measure the degree of sustainability in projects.
From qualitative assessment checklists to quantitative calculations, Three Steps to Sustainability supports continuous improvements. Applying these tools will help to enhance perception by stakeholders, market position, cost situation and overall prosperity of our organizations and enterprises.
This presentation is about the presenter‘s motivation for developing a sustainable toolset. Heinz shows examples for value measures of natural and social resources and describes different approaches for assessing them.
The description of the Three Steps to Sustainability is illustrated with sample assessments and calculations, so that attendees will know how to apply them in their organization right away.
With Three Steps to Sustainability, Heinz compiled his knowledge and experience about ecological accounting. He developed a comprehensive framework for project managers, who are looking for applicable tools in order to make their projects a better contribution to the sustainable development of our global economy.
Presenter: Heinz Fabrinsky PMP For over 20 years Heinz has been researching methods of ecological accounting in the deserts of Southern Africa and the Middle East and this has contributed to his knowledge about the extreme consequences human behavior can have on the environment. In 2013 he founded the nonprofit company “BibeZu Bildung für eine bessere Zukunft gemeinnützige GmbH” aimed at research and training for sustainable methods of working and living.
