Jacqueline will share her real-life (and somewhat humorous) stories about innovations, learnings, and best practices with regard to initiating and implementing a corporate sustainability program.
In 2008, she founded Alaska Airlines’ corporate sustainability program. Since then, Alaska Airlines has published three sustainability reports, developed a formal governance structure and sustainability initiatives, and has began the challenging process of integrating sustainability into their business practices.
Jacqueline’s presentation will also include tips and lessons learnedfrom Alaska Airlines and other companies for organizations who are interested in publishing their first sustainability report (or those who just want to compare wounds with someone who’s been there).
Presenter: Jacqueline Drumheller (LinkedIn profile) the sustainability manager for Alaska Airlines, is an enthusiastic public speaker who enjoys making sustainability fun. She is on a mission to make her company the sector leader in environmental stewardship. She began her environmental career in 1989, managing hazardous waste; followed by several years of environmental consulting. In 2012, she was named as one of 35 Inspirational Women in CSR by Triple Pundit.
