You will hear a lot about the importance of culture in the DevOps community!
In a world where success is measured by getting I.T. projects deployed, some have wondered if there has been too much focus on something as soft and difficult to define as “culture.”
Culture cannot be overemphasized.
The gurus are right:
- The foundation of DevOps is the culture of your technology teams, and with the right foundation, amazing technical successes are possible.
Defining the ingredients of that culture…that’s the hard part. And actually changing a culture to nurture a true DevOps mentality is harder still.
Join Chris Knotts (LinkedIn profile) for a one-hour info session as he presents the core ingredients of successful DevOps culture.
Chris will peel back a few layers of uncertainty, and describe specifically the “teachable” aspects that can take root in the technology environment to create the DevOps mentality: fearless, collaborative, responsible and mission-focused.
