Course Overview
This course will review a project management framework that will support your project team as they plan and execute on the agile rituals which are critical for ensuring that your projects are effectively managed.
This approach ensures that a repeatable management process is applied, thereby ensuring consistency with Agile development methods, while at the same time expanding on the traditional use of Microsoft Project to maintain the all-important User Story and a flexible iterative development approach. In this course we will review both an Agile Management Framework and a Sprint Framework for managing the User Stories for delivery in Releases and Sprints.
Reporting on the status of the Agile project is provided with a complete suite of Agile reports to provide the necessary “information radiators” for managing both the project and the individual sprints with resource management and burn-down chart graphical reports.
The overall goal is to teach project managers a practical approach to ‘how’ they can use Microsoft Project to deliver Agile projects consistent with the industry best practices defined by the Agile Alliance and Scrum.Org. Participants will get access to best-practices documentation, templates, compliance filters and checklists to support Agile delivery using Microsoft Project.
