You’ve written your query, mined millions of rows of data, and tuned for maximum performance. Now it’s time to share the information you’ve found with your stakeholders. At a minimum, this causes at least a moment of pause for many. Reporting – it’s seemingly easy, yet complicated to do correctly.

Whether it is a one-off report, simple dashboard, or web-based portal, how you present your data is just as important as the data itself. What good is information if you can’t communicate it?

Over the course of this hour, we’ll discuss some field-tested strategies for creating data visualization projects designed to deliver key information in an intuitive and powerful way.

Live Webinar January 28th, 2015 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM EST
Duration: 1 Hour Credits: 1 PDU Category C Free
Presented by : O’Reilly Webcasts

It’s easy to figure out that something is wrong with your website’s performance, but pinpointing the specific problem is a lot harder, especially when you’re not measuring the right things.

Just as a doctor needs to run tests before diagnosing a patient, you need to be monitoring all of the things that can possibly go wrong before you can determine exactly what went wrong.

Mehdi Daoudi (LinkedIn profile) CEO and Co-founder of Catchpoint Systems, will draw upon his years of experience in the monitoring industry to outline what you need to be measuring in order to ensure that you can not only correct problems that arise, but do so before your users are impacted.

In this webinar, Mehdi will cover:

  1. The importance of measurement in serving your users
  2. Too much data is almost as bad as not enough data; you need to focus on what matters
  3. How to analyze the data that you collect in order to draw sound conclusions
  4. How to relate monitoring data to business metrics and institute a culture of performance within your organization

Presented by: Eclipse Project Portfolio Management
Duration: 1 hour 1 PDUs Credits: Category B 1 PDU- Free PDU

Organization structures in most companies today make resource management a daunting task. A lack of visibility into resource allocation and capacity, consistent prioritization and validation of actual work versus planned, contribute to this challenge.

Over 50% of IT organizations surveyed use their “best guess” when determining what capacity IT has to perform projects in a given period.

This webinar presents the fundamentals for creating and implementing a Resource Management Model using people, process and technology. A Resource Management Model is a set of processes that provide visibility, decision support and structure to effectively manage people in an organization.

Allocating resources based on availability and fit, supported by standard processes, will improve the success and predictability of projects across your organization.

Who should attend this webinar?

COO’s, CIOs, Department VPs and Managers, PMs, Resource Managers
