We Live In Turbulent Times

We live in turbulent times … the drop in the price of oil, climate change and continued concerns about global economic stability.

This webinar references the 2008 economic collapse.  Economic concerns continue to dominate news headlines and impact business projects today.

Good business teams produce results during times of prosperity. It’s a different story during times of uncertainty and turbulence, when only the properly prepared and motivated teams will win.

Sustainable results require that every team—starting at the top and reaching down through the organization—be a great one.

  • What makes great teams stand apart?
  • What drives and sustains their performance in both good and lean times? And…
  • How can they be replicated throughout an organization?

For over 25 years, Howard Guttman has been helping leaders in major corporations around the globe build great teams on every level.

The result: great organizations that successfully meet each new challenge and consistently outperform the competition.

In this webcast Howard will offer practical tips that you can use to help every team in your organization acquire the attributes it needs to carry you through these turbulent times.

You will gain a clear understanding of key factors that drive team performance and critical issues such as accountability, decision making, and conflict resolution.

In a nutshell, you’ll hear a fresh and dynamic approach to achieving better results.

This Includes:

  • Why great business teams are the best way to create sustainable competitive advantage, in good times and in bad
  • What separates great business teams from merely good, or average, ones
  • The five characteristics shared by all great teams
  • What you can do to transform your team/teams from good to great
  • And much, much more

We encourage you to register even if you are unable to attend live; you’ll receive replay information following the event.

Employee Engagement Affects The Bottom Line!

It is common practice for organizations to capture employee engagement data on their workforce.

Many companies tout high or improved engagement scores, but what does that mean to the bottom line?

Engaged employees are a company’s greatest competitive advantage, and successful companies know that employee disengagement is a serious profit killer.

  • In fact, Disengagement costs the US economy almost $550 billion per year in lost productivity.
  • It also hinders employee performance, productivity and customer retention.
  • Not to mention disengagement increases the high cost of absenteeism and turnover for a company.

Company growth is back, and companies need to ensure they don’t let employee disengagement limit it.

Attend this webcast to learn the cost of disengagement to your organization and what you can do to mitigate it. Attendees will receive a complimentary whitepaper “The Cost of Disengagement to Your Company” which contains actionable insights and best practices.

Definitely check out Nicole’s 20 minute audio book “Engagement and Emotional Contagion” [Audible Audio Edition] – An excellent commentary on the best ways to create influence and  achieve: Engagement, Change Management, , and Buy-In.

One of the most common requirements of a PPM solution deployment is Resource Management.

While Resource Management could mean many things to many people, the common underlying questions, which every executive wants answered through the tool are:

  • How is my current resource utilization?
  • How does my Requirements vs. Committed Capacity charting look like?
  • Can my organization/group handle the requirements that are lined up for them for the upcoming period?

Ironically, while these questions are the most basic and common questions to ask, are also the difficult to answer accurately.

These questions touch several areas like the planning of work, estimation, tracking of actual work, and maintenance of the plans.

A sensible approach is needed to put the proper framework in place, so that when these questions are asked, you are ready with answers.

This sessions will cover how to use Project Online, and set up the frame work, to plan the work, execute it, track it and provide accurate reporting, from Resource Management perspective.
