Neil drives technology innovation in healthcare, consumer experience and engagement, and education. Neil also helps define innovation strategy and design innovation development programs via Jefferson’s Innovation Team, and played a key role securing funding to develop a high-tech, consumer-centric, integrative health center.

As technology continuously changes, it is imperative for project managers to consider governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) before technology is implemented within organizations from a cybersecurity perspective. There are many issues that project managers face, but having background in GRC equips PMs with the knowledge and somewhat predictability of how to effectively and efficiently manage project with less issues. This presentation will focus on many concepts in GRC, issues projects managers face, and best practices in GRC that will assist project managers and their teams on the current and future projects.
Presenter: Christina Cooper (LinkedIn profile) PMP ISSA ICMPC CEH, Sec+ is a cybersecurity professional with experience in data center operations and security, cybersecurity policy, cybersecurity awareness, information security (InfoSec) office development, vendor management, security assessment and authorization (SA&A), and risk and vulnerability analysis. As an entrepreneur, trainer, and speaker, she is co-author in the book Protecting Our Future: Educating a Cybersecurity Workforce, Vol. 2. She holds a BA in Business and Economics and is pursuing her Master of Science in Cybersecurity at the University of Maryland University College (UMUC).
Earlier this year at the Davos World Economic Forum several emerging technologies were presented and discussed. While each of these emerging technologies have significant market opportunities in and of themselves, the combination of all of them is the real story.
Pulling together the market projections for these technology suggest that they will create a period of rapid technological advancement by 2025 that is far greater than anything experienced in history.
