Activity Type: Education – Course or Training  1 Hour  1 PDU free
Provider: Training Magazine Network

Each day, we experience the pain caused by unethical leaders.

We don’t have to look very far to see examples of the erosion of basic ethical principles .

What is considered the right and wrong way to conduct business is being challenged every day.

And, the costs are staggering—monetary cost, damage to people, destroyed brand image, decreased performance, and lower productivity . . . the list goes on.

In order to avoid these hidden costs of unethical behavior, organizations must commit to developing both the leadership character and the leadership skill set of their leaders.

Unfortunately, we tend to only address the issue of ethical leadership at the executive level. This alone is inadequate.

Beginning at the supervisory level, L&D needs to build managers’ and leaders’ character, empowering them to recognize improper actions and take steps to confront and change unethical behavior.

In this webinar, participants will learn key actions that you can take to promote ethical leadership in their organization.

Specifically, attendees will:

  • Engage in a highly interactive discussion on the important role character and ethics play throughout a leader’s development.
  • Explore an innovative framework for how character is best developed at every level of leadership.
  • Reveal three critical keys for creating ethical behavior.

Data and analytics is central to how information and technology helps organizations operate, innovate, compete and drive productivity improvements.

However, even though we’re surrounded by new technology like blockchain, artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud, it remains a challenge for CEOs and CIOs to know when and where to invest in such things to reliably generate business value.

Sufficient skills in the workforce, the right kind of technology innovation and effective organizational and process models are aligning at the same time to help ensure that governing data and analytics is now designed to be bite-sized, by the business, for the business.

This is a great time to talk about data governance!

In this webinar, Andrew White VP Gartner Distinguished Analyst (LinkedIn profile, Gartner bio) will explore the latest technology, processes, skills and organizational models that are converging to help get more out of the “information” in IT.

Discussion Topics:

  • What went wrong with data governance and master data management (MDM)
  • The newly aligning best practices that you should know
  • How to get started with effective data and analytics governance tomorrow

Presenter:  Ruffin Veal III PMP (LinkedIn profilePrincipal Ruffin Veal and Associates, Inc, is an IT & PM professional whose career spans multiple industries including manufacturing, banking, retail and government.
