Although artificial intelligence is nothing new, applying AI techniques to software testing only really started to become feasible in the past year. But it’s undeniable that it will soon become part of our day-to-day quality engineering process. Before we get caught up in the excitement of the technology, let’s take a step back and assess how AI can help us achieve our quality objectives.
It’s been suggested that AI could be applied to actions such as prioritizing testing and test automation efforts, generating and optimizing test cases, enhancing UX testing, reducing tedious analysis tasks, and decreasing redundancies in test portfolios. However, should AI be applied in these cases? And where else could it assist?
Learn:
- Where AI can deliver the greatest impact to software testing
- Whether AI will soon take over software testing
- The next steps testers need to take
Presenters:
Ingo Philipp (LinkedIn profile) MS Distinguished Evangelist at Tricentis, champions the methodologies, best practices, and technologies at the core of the company’s Continuous Testing solution. His insights on rethinking software testing and passion for elevating the role of the software tester have made him a sought-after speaker/author across the global software testing community. Previously Ingo worked as a theoretical astrophysicist in the field of high-energy particle physics and computational fluid dynamics at the University of Vienna and the Berlin Institute for Technology.

As the technology landscape changes, global workplaces are finding more immersive and enriching ways to share and scale knowledge, augmented reality (AR) technology provides employers with richer and more cost-effective options for on-the-job training, experiential coaching and collaboration.
When it comes to AR, content is displayed on top of reality as soon as you put on your headset or hover over it with a mobile device.
In this session, CGS Senior Vice President of Enterprise Learning Doug Stephen (LinkedIn profile) and Senior Director of R&D Micah White (LinkedIn profile) discuss the application of AR in enterprise learning as a vital future toolkit for scalable, on-the-job, experiential training.
Doug & Micah will share real-life use cases and case studies on how this disruptive technology is changing the landscape and effectiveness of learning.
They will evaluate
- The differences among the three primary applications of AR in Learning:
- Collaborative,
- Interactive
- Product;
- Explore a variety of use cases for different companies
- Particularly those with remote or deskless workers
- Review metrics that are proving stronger results through the combination of real-life training from senior-level experts
- With employees who are onboarding and retaining knowledge faster.
