The exposure draft for the standard part of new PMBOK Guide, 7th edition is now available!
The current standard makes a radical shift from a process-based approach to a principle-based approach. This is the first time it’s happening since the release of 1st edition of PMBOK Guide in 1996.
The new standard for PMBOK Guide, 7th edition, has made this shift because the beginning of 21st century has seen the emergence of internet, related technologies and applied areas like never before. This in turn has transformed the way output of a project, i.e., product, service or result are delivered.
In this webinar, we will explore:
- Why go for a principle driven standard?
- What are the principles in the new standard?
- Which elements are changing?
- Which elements are expected to remain same?
- What will be the expected impact on the PMP exam?

Information as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS) and software as a service (SaaS) are fast forming a continuum of platform capabilities, rendering many early cloud deployments obsolete.
CIOs, CTOs, enterprise architects and other IT leaders priorities are changing as organizations turn to the next-generation, cloud-native business practices.
Cloud platform innovation promises great opportunities, but the rapid changes raise more questions than answers.
- How do you make sense of constant advances, including microservices and serverless functions; APIs and API marketplaces; hybrid integration and multi-cloud services; IoT and digital twins; analytics and AI; events and event streams, cloud and edge?
- How will they support, or disrupt, your plans, your organization and your market?
In this webinar Yefim V. Natis (LinkedIn profile, Gartner bio) Gartner Distinguished VP Analyst will break down the cloud trends that will most impact your organization.
Discussion Topics:
- How technology trends are driven by business change
- Key trends that are transforming the cloud platform experience
- How cloud platform innovation paves the path to the future of applications
