In this session, Erika will provide the necessary foundation for new and progressive leaders to be successful as a leader, not just for today and but for the future.
Through Erika’s Leadership Iceberg Model, she will breakdown the three levels to give participants a practical idea on how to build their leadership style and capability so they can be the positive change the future workforce needs.
The 3 levels are:
- MIND
- The expectation that people have or think leaders should be
- BODY
- The actions/behavior people experience with leaders
- HEART
- The core character of who the leader is and what drives their thoughts, actions/ behaviors
Three key takeaways include:
- To understand the connection between self-awareness and leadership and how that gives you a competitive advantage.
- To understand the true power and control you have to maximize your influence and responsibility over your team.
- To understand how to increase your performance by being your authentic self at work and giving your team permission to be authentic as well.
