Educators are continually searching for techniques to improve knowledge retention, especially during the pandemic. Research shows that poor knowledge retention exists because teaching typically follows a traditional waterfall approach, which studies show to be ineffective.
The “learn and forget” style of rote learning should be discouraged. Employers are frustrated as they find themselves retraining new hires on concepts that should have been learned in schools.
Employing agile techniques in pedagogical practices increases knowledge retention. Delivering a course in order of importance, with constant stakeholder collaboration, and adapting the delivery based on feedback increases learning and knowledge retention.
Also, educators should use a test-driven development approach with continuous planning and frequent feedback to improve learning and satisfaction.
At the end of the webinar, participants will be:
- See the use of agile techniques in non-software development
- Able to understand the methodology
- Able to apply the methodology to shorten teaching cycles and maximize learning

Is diversity and inclusion a priority for your company?
If so, diversity-focused recruitment marketing is a must. An important part of any diversity recruiting strategy, recruitment marketing helps employers communicate their employer value proposition in a way that resonates with women and underrepresented candidates.
Despite the importance, many companies still struggle to pair employer branding, recruitment marketing, and community outreach in a way that supports diversity recruitment goals.
In this webinar, Romy Newman, (LinkedIn profile) the co-founder of Fairygodboss, will walk you through new research, tried and true strategies, and share examples on how to use recruitment marketing to support your diversity recruiting goals.
More specifically, you’ll learn:
- Why recruitment marketing activities need to be tailored to meet diversity goals
- How top companies use recruitment marketing to attract diverse candidates
- How to pair recruitment marketing with employer branding, community outreach, and diversity recruitment
- New research that shows what companies are doing to attract underrepresented talent — and what’s working

Customer experience in a silo will never truly work. In fact, it is one of the biggest mistakes that Gartner sees organizations make.
The best technology interface cannot overcome a bad interaction with a frustrated employee, and before we jump all over the poor employee, we must determine why there was a bad interaction to begin with.
It could be a gap that could not be bridged, an exception that could not be made, or a unique issue that required additional thought and action. The result is a lot of investment and some payoff, but not as great as it could be by going “all in” on an interlinked total experience.
In this webinar Michelle Duerst (LinkedIn profile, Gartner bio) Gartner Sr Director Analyst & Don Scheibenreif (LinkedIn profile, Gartner bio) VP Distinguished Analyst utilizes real-world examples to show how total experience really works and the benefits it can generate.
Discussion Topics:
- Address your CEOs’ priorities for growth, technology investments, and workforce
- Understand the strategy behind total experience
- Use real-world examples to envision your organization’s total experience-based business outcomes
