As the future of work pushes organizations to become more automated and innovative, the workforce must reskill or face replacement. HR must respond by determining what skills will decline, what new skills are needed, and what talent is available for hire or reskilling.

Moreover, HR needs to evaluate which talent wells are deep enough to provide skilled employees for immediate and future needs despite competition for similar talent.

In this webinar Scott Engler (LinkedIn profile, Gartner bio)  Gartner Principal Executive Advisor & Fabiana Giorgi (LinkedIn profile) Gartner Sr Specialist, Advisory; lays out the core skills you need to enable the digital transformation of the future of work. You also will see how Gartner TalentNeuron helps HR leaders identify skills and sources to meet talent needs.

Discussion Topics:

  • HR’s mission to identify and source the skills needed for the future of work
  • Determine the core skills you need for the digital transformation of the future of work
  • Learn how Gartner TalentNeuron helps identify skills and sources to meet talent needs

Agile is often advertised as the silver bullet in the training class that will deliver “twice the scope in half the time.”

In principle, the topic of this webinar, agile implementation failures, may be unexpected from someone who used Agile practices long before they were called Agile and who was a champion of adoption of XP and Scrum in the early 2000s when Agile adoption was considered “crazy.”

One of the fundamental principles of Agile is to fail fast, learn, and recover. But accepting failure is not always as easy as it seems.

When a manager “motivates” his team with “failure is not an option” or expects the Project Manager or the Scrum Master to be a “pusher” rather than a servant leader, learning from small mistakes becomes an important process. This webinar presents several situations when Agile failed, analyzing the root cause and what could have been done differently to avoid failure.

Recognizing potential bias in your organization is the easy part.

We can see the issues, but how do we begin breaking down barriers and creating inclusion?

When it comes to confronting racism and bias, many of us have no idea how to start the conversation.

That is when doubt, hesitation, and even fear can creep in. What if sharing your concern only makes matters worse?

What if someone feels they are being falsely labeled or unjustly “accused”?

These potential scenarios can be frightening for many reasons:

  • As an organization,
    • you can decide to do nothing and hope for the best,
    • or you can equip your people with the skills to engage in these critical conversations and
    • mitigate their own biases.

In this session, Robert will explore ways to create the conditions for successfully addressing bias in a way that promotes dialog and discovery.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Recognize organizational situations/conditions that need to be addressed.
  • Establish clear goals for a successful outcome.
  • Create an environment that promotes learning and change.
  • Provide ongoing support.

Presenter: Robert Protho, (LinkedIn profile) BCom Sr. Trainer & Consultant Corporate Education Group (CEG), is a dynamic talent management and organizational development leader with global experience in leadership development and coaching.  In Robert’s diversity and inclusion work, he provided strategic consultation to ensure diversity and inclusion initiatives were developed, designed, and implemented to meet the organization and cultural needs of a global workforce.  Robert has a bachelor’s degree  from the University of Phoenix and holds numerous certifications, including: iPEC Executive Coaching Program (ICF Affiliated), Unconscious Bias Facilitator Certification, Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion, and Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner.

  • Do you know how the future Project Management will looks like?
  • Are you afraid of the transformations?

So, this webinar is for you!

In this session Trajano Leme Filho (LinkedIn profile)  will discuss the future of work in our role. The transformations brought about by AI and Robotization can be seen in different ways, depending on the lens with which professionals see the challenges and changes underway.

Let’s talk about these two big trends of the moment and how they can be considered allies in generating efficiency and not just as an additional source of anxiety and how they reflect on the impact in the future of work.

The effects of a crisis on transformation can be positive or negative. The primary factor is how leaders react to four psychological hotspots that get hotter — or cooler — when things suddenly change.

In this webinar Mary Mesaglio  (LinkedIn profile, Gartner bio) Gartner VP Distinguished Analyst examines four predictable psychological hotspots of technology transformation, and explores strategies to keep people positive and productive throughout the journey.

Discussion Topics:

  • Why transformation initiatives can impede change
  • Narrow the gap between what people understand intellectually and feel emotionally
  • Keep people motivated and engaged when they face uncertainty over many months
