There is nothing quite so surprisingly challenging as managing in a cross-disciplinary environment.
While you may work in the same organization, report to the same leadership structure and align to the same theoretical strategic direction, there are surprisingly cultural, behavioral and attitudinal differences as you engage with people from other divisions, disciplines and dimensions of your organization.
Cross-disciplinary projects are particularly challenging in that they require everyone to align and support each other to be successful. When you inhabit different worlds, adopt different perspectives and use very different terminology (although occasionally using theoretically-familiar words).
If you currently manage cross-disciplinary projects and teams, or you fear that you will in the future, this is a webinar that you won’t want to miss.

Data and analytics form the backbone of the modern economy, yet too often the true business value of data gets misunderstood or miscommunicated. Data and analytics leaders across all sectors and regions have a great opportunity to reaffirm the true value of data and analytics to the organization and also exert greater influence themselves on the business.
In this data & analytics session Rita L. Sallam (LinkedIn profile, Gartner bio) Gartner VP Analyst; & Alan D. Duncan (LinkedIn profile, Gartner bio) Gartner Distinguished VP Analyst look at what you must do to show true business value of data and analytics, including a redefinition of value beyond monetary terms.
You also will find out how data and analytics leaders can gain more influence by being better communicators and what skills you need to take the next step.
Discussion Topics:
- Find out why money can be a bad metric for the business value of data and analytics
- Communicate a value story that resonates more strongly with your business peers
- Determine what skills data and analytics leaders need to exert more business influence

Virtual classrooms are here to stay, but there’s a huge difference between ‘watch and listen’ and engaging in learning together.
The meaningful learning that genuinely drives new behaviours, attitudes, and skills that we used to experience in a great face to face workshop, has been hard to find. Until now.
At the cutting edge of workshop design, we’re driving engagement from the front. We’re using strategies like co-creation, collaboration and storytelling, and using tools, apps, and virtual sharing spaces that are making a massive difference in how people learn at distance.
Join LEO Learning expert Andrew Joly, (LinkedIn profile) Director of Strategic Design & Geoff Bloom Principal Consultant (LinkedIn profile), as they pass on their expertise in virtual workshop design and delivery in an easy-to-use, easy-to-apply session, with practical examples and takeaways.
Register now to:
- Learn how to drive more learning power from your virtual workshops and engage with learners at the next level
