Trust is an essential element of being able to lead projects and manage change.

While that statement represents a fundamental and enduring truth, the challenge is that in many cases it is entirely absent, particularly at the start of large-scale change efforts that are going to uproot the status quo.

To successfully lead change, building credibility and establishing trust is absolutely vital. The problem is that there isn’t a lot of guidance around about how to make that happen.

In this presentation, Mark Mullaly (LinkedIn profile) author of Researching the Value of Project Management explores what it takes to build up credibility from zero, and build an environment of respect and trust.

He explores what is necessary to make a difference when trust is low and the stakes are high, and what leaders and project managers can do to turn that around. He provides insights into why trust gets eroded, and the essential factors for being able to build it up—or restore it when it has been lost.

For anyone leading in a complex and uncertain environment—and today, that is all of us—this is a webinar that you won’t want to miss.

In 2022, governments are continuing to accelerate and scale their digital initiatives.

However, geopolitical and economic uncertainties as well as continuing public health concerns can potentially derail this progress.

Many governments are facing even tougher choices in addition to addressing pandemic recovery and economic growth needs. Amidst these volatile and continuing disruptions, governments require greater agility to anticipate and respond to both tactical and strategic challenges.

It’s critical for government CIOs to develop tangible action plans for emerging technologies, such as conversational platforms and machine learning, so as to maximize the value to the government workforce, businesses, citizens and the complex ecosystems on which all of these services depend.

Join this webinar as Apeksha Kaushik (LinkedIn profile, Gartner bio) Gartner Associate Principal Analyst  & Neville Cannon (LinkedIn profile, Gartner bio) Gartner Sr Director Analyst, will walk you through the emerging trends and innovations that are impacting the transition to digital government.

Discussion Topics:

  • Link your strategies and investments in innovation and emerging technology to mission outcomes
  • Develop strategies for talent shortages and applications modernization
  • Maintain momentum on digital initiatives and mitigate program risks

George Orwell once said wisely, “Every generation imagines itself to be more intelligent than the one that went before it, and wiser than the one that comes after it.”

The concept of age diversity in the workplace has been around for a long time, but only 8% of organizations include it in their DEI efforts.

Yet nearly 65% of workers say they have experienced aged-based discrimination, and generational blaming and shaming costs organizations dearly. In fact, in 2015 alone, between 60 and 70 million dollars were spent on generational consulting.

  1. Do pesky stereotypes get in the way in your organization?
  2. Do employees work in and lead multigenerational teams productively?

This session will explore new ways of thinking that can change not only our perspectives, and but the way we communicate from day to day.

Never has collaboration within and among diverse teams been more important, and never has Learning and Development faced such challenges and opportunities.

Learning Take-aways:

  1. Understanding how the four main generational narratives in the workplace came about.
  2. Exploring common values across generations and how they can help.
  3. Strategizing to overcome stereotypes by generating practical and productive communication practices.
