The CIO needs a growth agenda to respond to CEO demands. According to the Gartner Understanding Corporate Growth Strategies Survey, 37% expect to increase revenue by 10% or more this fiscal year.

Despite economic uncertainty, high-growth companies continue to target double-digit growth and often find their way through by looking for what’s new and different and attack the market on multiple fronts.

They leverage three catalysts for growth: strategic diversification, collective leadership, and embedded antifragile practices.

However, only 34% of senior executives believe CIOs play a leadership role in contributing to the company’s growth.
