Traditional project management was built on three pillars or three P’s: project, program, and portfolio.

Organizations are starting to recognize the importance of products and services, in the delivery of value to customers, and implementing strategy in organizations.

Project managers not only need to understand the role of their project to support the strategy of organizations but how the product they are building will support that strategy and realize the value to customers.

In this webinar Peter Monkhouse & Joanna Tivig will look at the inter-dependency between products and product portfolios with projects, programs, and project portfolios. The webinar will highlight the need for project managers to understand the relationship between portfolios, programs, projects, and products to support organizations in implementing strategy. It is time for products to become the fourth P of project management.

There isn’t a day that goes by that we don’t see a post on LinkedIn about, “Excited to join a new company” or “Starting a new job!”

It’s not surprising, as currently research tells us there are about two available jobs per available worker. Employees have the choice, and they are making the choice to stay or leave quickly.

With the settling of hybrid and remote work options, the need to design a human-centered onboarding experience has never been more important.

A great onboarding experience can improve retention by 82%,2 yet 88% of organizations don’t onboard their employees well.

What does a human-centered onboarding experience look like…virtually?

Jenelle Buatti (LinkedIn profile) Sr. Customer Success Enablement Manager, & Carol Stanley (LinkedIn profile) Employee Experience Manager, Limeade will unpack methods on how to design a human-centered onboarding experience where employees feel welcomed, supported, and set up for success.

Learn:

  • The power of creating opportunities for human connection
  •  Explore methods to showcase your culture in a virtual environment

Online Webinar – Recorded January 9th 2024
Activity Type:  Education – Online or Digital Media 1 PDU – Free
Provider: Gartner Webinars

Generative AI (GenAI) marks the start of the next industrial revolution, but AI made little impact on near-term IT spending. For a technology that added new heights to the peak of inflated expectations, how can total cumulative spending on GenAI from now until 2027 be merely $3 trillion?

GenAI blindsided organizations and boards, and CEOs are being cautious with their spending. Gartner expects 2024 to be the year of planning for GenAI, although IT spending will be driven by more traditional forces, such as profitability, labor, and a wave of change fatigue.

In this IT webinar John-David Lovelock, (LinkedIn profile, Gartner bio) Gartner Distinguished VP Analyst & Chief Forecaster; breaks down the final IT spending data from 2023 and what the numbers say about what could lie ahead in 2024.

Technology and service providers will get a better sense of where enterprises could focus their IT spend in the new year, factoring in technology sectors, industries and regions.

Discussion Topics:

  • Analyze the final IT spend numbers from 2023
  • Explore Gartner IT spending forecasts for 2024 and beyond
  • Separate the hype from the spending on AI and GenAI
