Online Webinar  – Recorded April 18th, 2023
Activity Type: Education – Course or Training  1 Hour  1 PDU
Provider: Gartner Webinars

Technology and service providers (TSPs) should expect economic uncertainty to challenge their revenue growth goals.

Uncertainty, by definition, compromises routine strategies, rules of thumb, and assumptions. This can lead to confusion and delays in market signals, decision making, and action.

Despite these headwinds, overall IT spending increased in 2022 and will increase in 2023 – in every country and industry.

Unfortunately, this statement cannot be extended to every IT market Gartner tracks. Yet, there were TSPs that achieved breakaway growth in 2022.

In this webinar, John-David Lovelock, (LinkedIn profile, Gartner bio) Gartner Distinguished VP Analyst &Gartner expert Mark McDonald (LinkedIn profile, Gartner bio) Gartner  Vice President  will review the Global IT Spending Forecast, the CIOs’ reactions to inflation, the contextual change in digital transformation projects, and how this all affects IT markets – which are growing vs those that will retract in 2023.

Plus, they’ll review how you can use a Gartner framework to understand your exposure to and implications of uncertainty, so that you can be set up for growth in 2023 and beyond.

Discussion Topics:

  • What Gartner forecasts for IT Spending growth in 2023 and beyond
  • Understand which markets are positively and negatively impacted by the current uncertainties
  • Gain insight from the companies that generated breakaway growth in 2022
