APM is delighted to be joined by thought leaders Jonathan Norman, Sarah Coleman, Vicki Griffiths, Tim Lyons and Ian Cribbes who will each share their insights and reflections on a range of topics including creativity and innovation, influencing at a distance and risk and decision making and what this means for project delivery in the new normal.
They will make best use of interactive technology so do come ready to share your own thoughts, reflections and experience for what we hope will be an exciting and stimulating session.
Presenters:
Tim Lyons (LinkedIn profile) is an APM Fellow, and a NLP Master Practitioner and INLPTA Master Coach. His original degree is in the philosophical aspects of Linguistics, and he holds a Masters in Neuro Linguistic Programming and Coaching for the work he did on the decision making habits of successful project managers. Tim interests are in decision making systems and skills, communications in the project environment and applying NLP principles to organisations, and coaching individuals to be their best. He has worked on large and small programmes over the years in many parts of the world, and is currently working for the Crossrail Programme.
Vicki Griffiths (LinkedIn profile) is a Senior Project Manager at Fugro, a multinational company specialising in marine and land site characterisation projects. Currently she is working on a number of internal change projects that will impact the entire company. Vicki is a Fellow of the APM and one of the first group to attain Chartership in the APM and is currently mentoring others to achieve this goal. For the last year she has been the Chair of the Women in Project Management (WiPM) SIG at the APM.
Jonathan Norman, (LinkedIn profile) publisher of A Short Guide to Facilitating Risk Management (Short Guides to Business Risk) is responsible for the knowledge repository and the Association’s virtual community of practice. The repository collates and curates insight on the experience of major projects with resources from the Olympics, Crossrail, Thameslink Learning Legacies and from across industry. He also facilitates a wide range of virtual activities and events to complement the Association’s main seminar programme and socializes everything we do.
Sarah Coleman (LinkedIn profile) BSc MBA With 30 + yrs experience supporting business critical projects, programmes up to $50m internationally Sarah is an author keynote speaker and Fellow at Lincoln University, APM Mentor at Judge Business School, in Cambridge. Sarah started her career in technology and telecoms and she worked for government and multi-nationals developing her project, programme and change skills and experience. In 2007 she established Business Evolution Ltd and now supports strategy, change, projects and programmes.
Ian Cribbes (LinkedIn profile) FAPM has worked with a wide variety of organisations within the UK and internationally, leading projects with values in excess of £35 million pounds. Ian is a co-opted member of the People SIG committee and an active member of the Stakeholder Engagement Focus Group. Ian now runs his own company assisting organisations with programme and project management issues and advising on stakeholder engagement processes.
