Microsoft have tagged Windows Server 2012 as a “Cloud OS”

This stems from the fact that many of the features have come from running cloud services such as Office 365, Azure and Bing. It doesn’t mean that Server 2012 is just about virtualisation, even if Hyper-V staid as is, there have been more changes in this release of Windows Server since the move from NT4 to 2000.
