Presented by: John Fish
- Are your projects both urgent and important?
- Do you find that management does not provide the luxury of spending the time to fully define the scope work?
- Do your projects experience changes or cost/schedule overruns?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, you may benefit from some of the tools and work processes developed by CII to evaluate the completeness of your project prior to funding and execution.
In this session, John Fish will explain the concepts, costs, and benefits of using a structured process for Front End Planning (FEP). The primary focus will be on the Construction Industry Institute Research and Tools developed to improve project execution.
Note: You do have to be a PMI® member to register for this opportunity.
Presenter: John Fish (LinkedIn profile) has over forty-five years experience in the Engineering and Construction industry (primarily refining and petro-chemical). With previous assignments ranging from Estimating, Engineering/Design, Construction Coordination, Project Controls, and Strategic Project Procurement, he became the architect for the Internet Project Information Management System (iPIMS), a web based system for collaboration and information exchange and pioneered the concept of Data-Centric Rule Based 3D Modeling for his company.
