Power BI is a powerful tool that can help visualize your Project Information. In fact, it can combine information from many different sources to get a holistic view of your project.
In this session, Collin Quiring will cover exactly how to get that information. This will include the actual Odata string to get to your Project information along with how to see what fields are coming into Power BI.
Colin will also:
- Do some data “cleanup” to modify the data to be in a different format than how it comes into the query
- Combine this information with another system’s data to show how it can be tied together to give a single view of the combined data.
- And up with a visual or two
But the goal of this session isn’t the end product, it is about:
How to get the data and how to manipulate what you are getting into a useable data set.
Presenter: Collin Quiring (LinkedIn profile), MBA, OPM3, PMP, MCTS, MCT, CIRM is a capable professional with over 20 years of experience in several industries supporting Project Management, Resource Management, Product Development, Systems Administration, and Training.
