Coaching was not necessarily a role and practice that existed when Agile started as a new approach in the 1970s.

Agile began as an alternative to Lean Six Sigma which is the very mindset that is coming back to Agile as a way to ‘scale’ frameworks developed for small teams of software developers.

Like some other practices that originated in Extreme Programming (XP), Story Points and burndown charts, the Coach role evolved to something that is hard to define.

From an advisor to Senior Management, to a Trainer, or a salesman for various Agile certifications, the Agile Coach is almost always specific to software development. Agile Manufacturing and Lean Six Sigma, which may be considered much larger Business Transformations, don’t necessarily have a Coach for each unit of the organization.

In this webinar Stelian Roman (LinkedIn profile) gives a Project Manager’s analysis of the Agile Coach, Business Coach, and Lean Six Sigma’s Master Black Belt roles.

Activity Type: Education – Online or Digital Media 1 PDU – Free
Provider: Training Magazine Network

Learning simulations both produce better learning and business outcomes. In a recent survey of 400+ learning leaders, 95 percent of those using simulation learning reported positive learner impact and success in achieving organizational outcomes.

Intuitively, we know that simulations engage learners with realistic scenarios, but we now have the evidence to show they deliver upskilling at scale. Unlike other forms of digital learning, simulations measure the application of skills and bring breakthrough performance improvements.

The massive shift to online learning has seen a parallel increase in eLearning fatigue. However, discover how blending immersive simulations into programs addresses this issue head on while delivering more effective training outcomes.

Join Declan Dagger (LinkedIn profile) and John Fallon (LinkedIn profile) to see how you can successfully add immersive simulation to upskill and delight learners at scale — including examples from several leading organizations.

Join & Experience:

  • The business impact of immersive simulations,
    • Based on behavioral change data.
  • Cutting-edge tech for creating immersive learning simulations.
  • Use cases
    • for how you can apply simulations alongside existing eLearning.
  • How you can rapidly introduce high-quality simulations.

However, in this presentation I would suggest to you that by using simple principles from complexity thinking you might be managing uncertain contexts and decisions much better.

In the presentation Eitan Reich (LinkedIn profile) will describe how exactly complex, dynamic situations are different from simple and even complicated ones.

Also learn about key principles of complexity thinking that would be useful in your change projects and for your decision making, planning and managing processes.
