Turbulent times amplify the importance for product leaders to double down on the discovery and validation of customer needs before investing in new products and capabilities.

However, many product teams still struggle to capture valuable customer insights needed to create compelling and differentiated products and services, which are essential to maximizing the chances of success in an increasingly competitive market.

Product leaders must invest in collecting, challenging, and validating market insights prior to deciding on product development initiatives in order to increase the chances of commercial success.

The employee value proposition (EVP) is traditionally designed to provide an employee experience with features that meet workers’ needs.

With the shift to hybrid work as well as persistent difficulties with employee engagement and talent acquisition, organisations must offer more to remain competitive. Chief human resource officers (CHROs) must evolve their organisation’s EVP to deliver a more human deal centered around the whole person, their feelings and life experiences, connectedness and talent attraction/management.

Join this complimentary HR webinar as a Gartner expert explores what employees want and expect from their organisation’s EVP and what CHROs and HR leaders must do to deliver a more human deal in today’s environment. You will walk away from this session with answers to your vital questions, a copy of the research slides and recommended actions to help you achieve your goals.

Discussion Topics:

  • Understand how the EVP must evolve to meet the changing needs of employees
  • Identify what actions CHROs can take to build employee EVP satisfaction
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of EVP offerings to maximise ROI of investment

Executives and managers get excited about transformation.

Whether that’s about developing a digital strategy, championing improvements or finding efficiencies, change efforts abound. The promises made are significant, and the investments are large as well.

Every change effort succeeds or fails, however, based on the support of people.

Transformation is not abstract. Change does not happen in a vacuum. Every successful transition fundamentally depends on one thing: encouraging, persuading and supporting people to change their behaviour.

It doesn’t matter how good the process, how cutting edge the technology or how rational the reason for making change in the first place. If people don’t see the wisdom and benefit of working in a different way, it won’t happen.

In this webinar, Mark Mullaly (LinkedIn profile) author of Researching the Value of Project Management explores what it takes to genuinely build an effective case for change, and to follow through in actually getting traction in your transformation efforts.

Mark explores the challenges associated with traditional change efforts, and what needs to happen if change is truly embraced. More specifically, he identifies the strategies that are necessary to define, communicate and sustain any change effort if it is going to be successful.

Explore the strategies that required to make your transformation successful. Mark might just change how you think about change!

Underperformance is a common threat to megaproject managers and the track record of cost and time overruns in these projects is well documented.

While front end planning is important, not all events and scenarios can be foreseen when the project can take several years to complete and may involve many companies and stakeholders.

In our research we find that the capacity to adapt to this uncertainty during the life of the project is crucial for megaproject performance but it is often overlooked as a capability. Using a case study of the construction of a US$20 billion dollar project we show that project leaders play an important role in recognizing when a plan needs to change and then navigating the path onto a new project plan without disrupting the delivery of the project.

Projects are the mechanism to realize business strategy, create competitive advantage and achieve organizational transformation.

Important stuff, but most often, projects are being done in addition to ongoing business operations with constrained resources.

Therefore success is dependent on getting the right resources, spending your budget wisely, and keeping people focused and motivated to execute.

Warning signs that a project is headed to failure include missed deadlines, confusion, conflict and churning. All this can contribute to project manager and team burnout.

Effective project managers look for these early warning signs of failure and burnout so they can take corrective actions, but more importantly, they proactively work to avoid them.

In this webinar you will learn tips and techniques to:

  • Cultivate a healthy environment for your project, your team, and yourself
  • Create best practices you can rely on to drive the project forward
  • Leverage relationships to support and motivate
