Agile teams, which traditionally function best when able to meet face-to-face, have been made increasingly remote due to the COVID-19 pandemic and business environment changes.

When Agile teams go remote, many opportunities for informal development and quick decision-making are lost.

That doesn’t mean that remote Agile teams must be less effective, though.

How can remote Agile teams adjust their WOWs, or ways of working, to adapt to changes in the business environment?

How they can overcome the challenge, including what changes to their WOWs and what tools they can use, will be covered in this webinar.

Attendees will leave with new ideas about how to improve their WOWs for remote Agile teams.

Antonio Nieto-Rodriquez, (LinkedIn profile)  has developed a simple tool – the Project Canvas – that can be applied by any individual, team, organization or country.

Project management methods are often too complicated for non-experts to understand, adapt and apply successfully. In a world where more and more value is driven by change and projects, it’s crucial that project professionals have access to guidance that is simple to understand, adapt and apply.

In this webinar we will introduce the Project Canvas – a simple framework based on the fourteen project management fundamentals, and APMG  will look at how it is being implemented in organizations like KLM.

The Project Canvas is composed of four domains (Why, Who, What/How/When, Where) and fourteen building blocks. It provides a unique opportunity for project managers (experienced and beginners), as well as senior executives to start applying a method that is simple, universal and proven, and will lead to better outcomes in their organization.

You’ll hear from the framework’s creator, Antonio Nieto-Rodriguez, a Harvard Business Review author, thought-leader, practitioner, professor in project management and Project Management Institute past Chairman and Fellow.

Antonio will be joined by Henri Kuijl (LinkedIn profile) from KLM, the flag carrier airline of the Netherlands, who will share the KLM experience of adopting and applying the Project Canvas.

Waterfall, agile, or both?

We know that each methodology comes with its own benefits and challenges and that a linear, waterfall approach doesn’t always work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.

But how do we combine the two approaches to fit our real-world projects?

In this webinar, you’ll see what a hybrid approach can do for your projects, along with when and how to implement them.

Keith will take you through three scenarios to demonstrate using a hybrid approach in the real world.

Topics include:

  • An overview of what a hybrid approach is
  • Selecting waterfall or agile roles, practices, and techniques
  • How a hybrid approach is used in real scenarios
