Could Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
be a game-changer for your organization?

As more and more businesses turn to Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to achieve operational efficiency, RPA proves to be a key lever in achieving this goal, eliminating tedious tasks, and freeing corporate workers to focus on higher value work.

Experts predict that RPA will achieve near-universal adoption in the coming years. It was forecasted that global RPA software end-user spending reached $2.9 billion in 2022, an increase of 19.5% from 2021 (Gartner Inc).

RPA has been rapidly adopted in all types of organizations. In 2023, SMEs will rapidly adopt more RPA software and applications to streamline their processes and become more efficient. But how do you start? And where?

In this webinar Jan-Willem will provide a guide on starting your journey to better understand what RPA is, its benefits and applications. Jan-Willem Middelburg, author and chief examiner of the Robotic Process Automation Framework, will explain:

  • how RPA platforms are structured;
  • the core components of RPA platforms with examples of software vendors to illustrate how RPA technology works from a vendor-neutral organization perspective; and

85% of executives cite change as critical to business success in these disruptive times. Yet all too often it is seen as a threat.

If change is so important, why are people afraid of it? What is stopping them adopting an innovative and growth mindset?

Quite simply, it’s our subconscious biases that protect the status quo and our tendency to emphasise the negative at the expense of the positive – negativity bias. Change creates winners and losers and the fear of loss looms larger than gain. Yet we all have the ultimate tool, built for change, at our disposal… our brain!

Neuroplasticity – our natural ability to change. The fundamental architecture of the brain is to change and adapt.

Humans can adapt to any habitat on the planet from the Poles to the Equator. Think also of the languages we may have to learn depending on where we are born.

The neurobiology behind this is our brain’s remarkable ability to re-wire itself to cope with changing circumstances. When we learn or experience something new, thousands of neurons wire together to map this new knowledge.

It’s time to switch mindset Whether it is restructuring, digital transformation, or new processes, this workshop demonstrates how we are designed to adapt.

By adopting a growth mindset, change can be seen as an opportunity for success. We’ll show how focusing on the positive and really listening to employees’ concerns helps the brain adjust its response to change and perceived threat.

Key Benefits:

  • Neutralise the non-conscious barriers to change.
  • Reduce fear to create a fertile environment for change.
  • Understand neuroplasticity and the brain’s ability to rewire itself.
  • Know how to change mindset from fixed to growth.
  • Gain the tools to lead change successfully and bring your people with you.

Today’s projects are exponentially more complex than yesterday’s, and the need for accurate and timely assurance is more important than ever.

Projects are the backbone of progress. They are a constant in all sectors, and their impact is huge. For every £1 spent on infrastructure projects, £3 is generated for our economy. With £650 billion committed in public and private infrastructure funding over the next decade in the UK alone, the opportunity is awesome.

It’s essential – especially in these uncertain and challenging times – these projects are delivered well, safely, on time and on budget. This is not just to ensure that benefits are delivered, but also to maintain and build confidence in funders and investors. Unfortunately, it’s not always the case that projects are delivered well.

Digital dependence is greater; the asset-people interface more intricate, and the corporate responsibility demands are bigger than ever. Projects need a more sophisticated, comprehensive assurance model so that owners, financers, investors, delivery teams and end-users have confidence in successful delivery.

It’s time for a step-change. We need to move on and focus on the role assurance can play to fix this problem. The assurance process needs to be integrated into the project, and we increasingly need a systems-based approach to deliver, that integrates all the work packages of very different delivery methodologies and scopes.

Join Joe Manning (LinkedIn profile) & Liam Hewitt (LinkedIn profile) for a discussion that makes the case for this change and identifies the challenges that need to be overcome. They will talk about key focusses needed for assurance to evolve, and they will be seeking your opinion on how to shape assurance for the better.
