Instructional designers say, “It’s not the tool you use that creates interaction, it’s good instructional design that leads to interaction.”
When it comes to effective engagement in live learning sessions, the tool matters. Adobe Connect 12 provides structure and uniformity for consistent experiences while offering extreme flexibility for custom activities.
In this session,Karen Hyder (LinkedIn profile) will show you how an Adobe Connect session hosts a smooth transition between pre-set pod layouts with pre-loaded files that support custom engagement activities.
You’ll discover how team members stage content, respond to and escalate questions, and provide support to the presenter and attendees behind the scenes in Adobe Connect. You’ll learn to manage content with inventory layouts.
Learn:
- How to plan, setup, and use multi-pod layouts to support custom interaction
- Configuration options for the Host and Presenter Area to best support presenters and participants
- Why “Inventory” layouts make session room reset/reuse a breeze
- When to use a “Producer-only” layout in Preparing mode
- Simplify wrap up and follow up tasks with easy tricks
NOTE: This session is designed to be interactive–come prepared to participate!

Quiet quitting isn’t new. It’s the latest name for a long-time problem: disengagement.
Employees have been mentally quitting and staying for decades. What’s new is that today’s employees have taken to social media to openly talk about it. It’s a cry for help from these employees and you should treat it as a call to action.
The root cause of quiet quitting and disengagement is UNCERTAINTY. When employees are uncertain about where they stand at work, how their performance is evaluated, or what kind of opportunities exist for them, they disengage.
When employees get mixed (or no) messages about what’s happening or what they should expect, they disengage. Uncertainty kills employee engagement and that leads to quiet quitting (or worse). But, there is an antidote to the uncertainty. It’s called CLARITY.
In this dynamic webinar, you’ll learn:
- Why quiet quitting is an opportunity to improve employee engagement and retention
- How uncertainty is driving the disengagement that fuels quiet quitting and how clarity is the key to addressing it
- Techniques and tactics for how to create the clarity that will get employees to “quietly re-engage”

Nowadays, instructional video has become a very popular eLearning technique! But video has one major limitation: it’s not interactive! Learners often have to sit passively watching a video tutorial from start to finish.
This lack of interactivity limits their engagement and ultimately reduces the retention rate of your instruction.
Adobe Captivate 2019 includes a screen capture tool that allows you to completely overcome this intrinsic limitation of video and create truly interactive simulations based on the recording of your actions on the screen.
Join Damien for a webinar entirely dedicated to creating interactive simulations using the built-in screen capture tool in Adobe Captivate 2019.
During this webinar, you will discover
- The difference between a video demonstration and an interactive simulation
- Various options for capturing your screen
- The automatic and manual recording modes
- How to edit recorded simulations
- Using the Click Box object for developing interactions
- Etc…
By the end of this webinar, you will be able to completely reinvent the very concept of video tutorials.
You will enjoy a whole new type of interactive learning experience that will increase engagement and retention.
