If 2020 were a box, we probably wouldn’t have opened it. Littered with crisis after crisis – the chronic disappointment and emotional exhaustion caused by a reality in turmoil.

This global threat to our wellbeing and economy is what the World Health Organization has recently coined as  “pandemic fatigue.”

Businesses are seeing the negative effects of a worn-down workforce – from women forced to leave their jobs due to the childcare crisis to unplanned absences from increasing COVID cases.

With a new level of complexity in planning for the wellbeing needs of your business, simply waiting for a vaccine to bring back what we once knew as normal is not enough.

The workforce is the lifeblood of any organization, and it is under tremendous stress. This has resulted in a resilience imperative: Does your organization have what it needs to begin picking up these broken pieces and put them back together?

Hear from Dr. Andrew J. Shatté (LinkedIn profile) Co-founder, Chief Science Officer meQuilibrium, psychologist and organizational resilience expert, as he clearly connects the role of resilience to pandemic fatigue — because the only way out is through.

Why do some HR technology approaches succeed while others fail?

If the time has come for your organization to choose a new HR software platform, this is an important question to ask.

How does an organization find the right HR software platform? One approach is to find a company with a successful HR technology strategy and simply use the same HR software vendor they use.

But this doesn’t always work.

Every company is different. A solution that works for one company may not work for another.

A better approach is to learn about the process the successful organization went through to find the right platform and adapt a similar plan for your organization.

  • What were their key objectives?
  • What questions did they ask during the vendor search?
  • What did they understand about the implementation before project kick-off?
  • What did they consider at each stage of the process, from selection to go-live?

If you find enough companies who have succeeded and work backwards to understand how each of those companies achieved that success, you start to notice that the things they considered along the path to that success are often the same.

Join Patrick Sayers, (LinkedIn profile) President Newcastle Research, to learn about some of the most important things successful companies consider on the path to a successful HR technology strategy.

  •  The pros and cons of the different options available (HCM, PEO, In-House etc.)
  •  SaaS vs. license
  • Single database vs. multiple databases
  • When going through a reseller can be a good thing, and when it might be cause for concern
  • The #1 thing to consider when choosing a new vendor

HR leaders realize that people analytics has become fundamental to the growth of their business.  It typically starts as an army of one — an HR analyst you assigned to be responsible for pulling data from multiple systems, formatting, and distributing reports to leaders in somewhat meaningful formats.

But it quickly snowballs with the intricacies of data cleansing and transformation, interactive visualization, the addition of non-HR data sources, viewer security, and the like.

While limited success is present, it’s just that — limited.

  • When and how do you make the move from doing it yourselves internally to partnering with a people analytics vendor?
  • How do you build the business case?
  • What are the advantages and what are the risks?

In this webcast, you will:

  • Learn the building blocks of a streamlined people analytics initiative, from strategy, to people, to process, to technology, and beyond
  • Identify the real costs and limitations of do-it-yourself people analytics and similar initiatives
  • Realize the value and benefits from a full or hybrid partnership with a proven people analytics solution provider
  • Acquire the research and knowledge needed to make the leap from DIY to SaaS people analytics
  • Understand how SaaS people analytics will deliver results for your organization and take it to the next level

Join Chris Moore, (LinkedIn profile) founder & CEO of ZeroedIn & Keith Goode (LinkedIn profile) Vice President of Products & Services ZeroedIn in this informative session.

The start of a new year inspires many of us to create resolutions, or new approaches we will adopt in our actions or thinking. Instead of resolving to losing 20 pounds, what if we resolved to think differently about what is most important when it comes to our employees?

2020 has taught us that what we thought we knew about the employee experience didn’t apply in pandemic times. The beginning of 2021 is the perfect time to apply some fresh thinking to what we measure and action in organization surveys.

If employee engagement made sense in the past, what makes sense in 2021?

Dr. Sarah Johnson (LinkedIn profile) Vice President, Enterprise Surveys and Analytics for an enlightening discussion that may alter your own new year’s resolutions.
