According to a recent ATD research study, only 54% of organizations evaluate some learning programs at Level 3 of the five-level evaluation model.

To establish real credibility and prove value, you need to measure whether or not participants applied what they learned in a training program back on the job (Level 3 evaluation).

Unfortunately, measuring on-the-job behavior change is not something many L&D professionals know much about nor often do.

Also, some L&D professionals who are conducting Level 3s have fallen behind recent advances made in evaluation and survey design methodology. Consequently, they likely are collecting data that is either misleading or invalid.

In this informative, highly engaging session you will learn practical tips and guidelines on how to create Level 3 participant surveys that measure job behavior change.

Particular emphasis is given to three crucial areas of survey design: the content of the survey items, formatting of the survey, and the measurement scale used.

Ken Phillips  (LinkedIn profile) will help you to:

  • Use facts from a recent Association for Talent Development (ATD) research study to benchmark an organization’s use of Level 3 evaluations
  • Avoid the common mistakes made by many L&D professionals when creating Level 3 evaluation surveys that result in the collection of misleading or invalid data
  • Use twelve tips and best practices for creating valid, scientifically sound Level 3 evaluations

Your happiness and success depend on your working relationships.

  1. The people you manage.
  2. How well you work with your boss.
  3. The way collaboration happens with colleagues and peers.
  4. How you connect with important prospects and key clients.

But the hard truth is this: most of us leave the health and fate of these relationships to chance. We say “Hi,” exchange pleasantries, and then hope for the best.

But every relationship becomes suboptimal at some point, whether it’s a good one that goes off the rails or one that was poor from the start.

And when that happens, most of us don’t know what to do about it.

We are just resigned to the fact that this is what happens: relationships always get a little broken, or a little stale, or a little worse.

In this practical session, you’ll learn how to reverse that trend and build the best possible working relationship with anyone. Well, almost anyone.

You will:

  • learn the three attributes of a resilient and long-lasting relationship
  • understand how you can aspire to “the best possible relationship” with every one of your key working relationships
  • investigate the one awkward but essential conversation that will set up success
  • take a deep dive into one of the essential questions, and prepare your best answers to them

You will leave with a renewed optimism about the quality of their working relationships, a determination to actively manage them, and a plan to get things started.
