It’s been more than two decades since Amy Edmondson (LinkedIn profile) first introduced the concept of psychological safety as a key component of team learning and development.

In today’s “workers economy,” employees are re-examining what work means to them, and they’re making new choices around how, when, and why they do it. We’re in the midst of a talent migration, and creating psychological safety at work is more important than ever.

In this webinar, Christa will explore the interconnected relationship between a sense of belonging, individual commitment, and team performance.

Gain insight into:

  • Why psychological safety is especially critical for organizations as we transition to hybrid work
  • Essential coaching behaviors that build trust and drive results
  • Ways to design team experiences for inclusion

The Big Quit. The Great Resignation. The take-this-job-and-shove-it economy.

There are a lot of colorful names to describe the state of affairs in the workplace as many organizations contemplate – or implement – “return to office” guidelines.

  1. With the next-new-normal of hybrid work looming on the horizon, how are you reimagining the way teamwork might occur along the axes of time and place?
  2. Who is authoring the decisions about the parameters of flexible work, and how are you balancing individual and team needs and preferences with those of the organization?

In this webinar, Christa will examine some often overlooked aspects of hybrid work, exploring hidden power differentials and ways to balance key dynamics and decisions to create a fair and equitable environment.

“Agile projects need to report to the PMO”
How does this statement make you feel?

Anxious? Frustrated?  Anticipating a fight? There’s likely to be resistance.

The reality is, all projects, even Agile ones, should have supports to be successful.  But at the same time, PMOs can’t remain the same and expect Agilists to just comply; PMOs also need to change and adapt.

Rubin Jen will review the types of PMOs and what benefit they bring to an organization, but then also their place in an Agile environment.  He will investigate the value they need to have for Agile projects.  And finally, he’ll provide a few examples of value-added services that can assist.

After this one-hour session, you will be able to:

  • Describe the different types of PMOs and their fit in the Agile world
  • Identify the value that PMOs must bring to be relevant
  • Consider PMO services that support Agile project success

Presenter: Rubin Jen (LinkedIn profile)is a coach, consultant, and trainer with 25+ years of experience and success in Agile, traditional project, program, and portfolio management. Rubin is also a Disciplined Agile Certified Instructor and Certified ScrumMaster and specializes in organizations transitioning to an Agile environment. Rubin is one of the top instructors in the world, independently validated by Course Conductor.
