How Does Your Organization Define Project Success?

In order for a project to be truly successful it must deliver its anticipated ROI/business objectives.

We typically evaluate projects on the project management view of success, the Triple Constraint of scope, budget and timeline, but too often within this view of project success we do not consider how well people adopt, become proficient and sustain the change the project brings.

In this interactive session, we support Strategic and Benefits Management and Benefit Management and Realization from the Talent Triangle by challenging the commonly held definition of project success and discussing how change management supports business success and the business outcomes that matter.

Participants will learn a new way to think about change success and critical components of this success.

Join Michelle Yanahan (LinkedIn profile) and walk away with some practical assessments that can immediately put into practice to enhance and compliment any project management toolkit.

Key Points:

  1. Define project success and why people outcomes matter
  2. Understand and be able to incorporate 3 critical concepts (impact, behavior and process) to help better define project success
  3. Access tools to be able to put learning into practice immediately.

Have you ever wondered why some people who don’t have as much knowledge and experience seem to be more successful than those who do?

They tend to get promoted more often, receive better job opportunities, and seem happier in all areas of life.

This is usually not because of technical competency, but for emotional competency. This is true across creed, race or gender. It is true for every profession and personal relationship.

The difference is in Emotional Intelligence (EQ).

As a Project Manager, the way you handle your emotions and those of others on your teams can go a long way in determining your success. In this webinar, Sunday Faronbi (LinkedIn profile) will discuss how emotions can either enhance or wreck your career as a Project Manager.

Let’s face it. Most of us don’t work in best-in-class project organizations. But… most of us don’t work in worst-in-class organizations either – although many of you might say you are closer to this designation.

The fact is that too many organizations have basic problems executing projects. Let’s just call them “challenged”.

The projects rely on heroics from project managers and team members. They have to since your organization does not have good processes that you can repeat over and over again for project success.

In this webinar Tom Mochal Pmp PgMP TSPM ITBMC (LinkedIn profile) will discuss the top ten organization challenges that make it difficult to complete projects successfully.

That is the easy part. Tom will also provide insight into some ways to elevate your organization to a higher level. That is the hard part.

We won’t set expectations that there is one technique or approach that will magically make everything perfect. But there are logical techniques and approaches that can help you improve. This webinar will help you decide which ones make sense for your organization.
