How a Single-Focused Approach Delivers Results

We have become a nation addicted to the enticing and dangerously misleading drug of multitasking.  You might be hooked yourself.

The popular notion is that by doing several tasks at once we can accomplish more — but a host of neuroscientific research shows that the opposite is true.

The fact is that your brain is simply not built to multitask.

In any situation, we’re most efficient focusing on one task at a time. But with all the information and interruptions that bombard us, how is that possible?

Discover how to clear and calm your mind, arrange your schedule and environment, and gently but firmly manage the expectations of people around you so that you can accomplish a succession of tasks, one at a time — and be infinitely more productive and effective.

Webinar Objectives:

  • Discover tangible tools to focus your mind and harness your potential
  • Learn why multitasking is a myth — and how to singletask your way to success
  • Simple methods for tackling your list of “to dos” with less effort and greater ease
  • Gain practical techniques to manage your environment – including people around you
  • Uncover methods to do more in less time with better results
  • Apply fascinating cutting edge science to improve your relationships and quality of life
Only clowns should juggle. Singletasking is the key to success and sanity!

We encourage you to register even if you are unable to attend live; you’ll receive replay information following the event.

This webinar is based on the groundbreaking new book:
Dare to Serve:
How to Drive Superior Results by Serving Others

Becoming a “Dare to Serve” Leader

Our culture celebrates “The Spotlight Leader.”

The leader is on stage – the spotlight is entirely on them – in short, it is all about them.

This leader declares a new vision, has all the answers, and is a high achiever.  We tolerate them being a bit self-absorbed because they are going places that we want to go, and if they are successful, we will be successful… so we think.

We vaguely know there is another kind of leadership – Servant leadership. This kind of leader is known for humility.

They shun the spotlight and listen carefully to the people because they care deeply about the people. They make decisions that serve the people well; they give others credit.

We wonder about these leaders ..
But We Shouldn’t!

Join Cheryl Bachelder, CEO of Popeyes® Louisiana Kitchen, Inc., for this informative session on developing a better leadership strategy!

Cheryl wants to suggest a new idea – If you move yourself out of the spotlight and dare to serve others well, you will deliver superior performance results – and she’s got the experience to prove it!

Join Cheryl as she talks to Becky Robinson about the ideas that have shaped her own leadership journey, and make up the basis of her new book:

Dare to Serve:
How to Drive Superior Results by Serving Others

A Must Read For Every Leader!

Teamability®:
The Ability To Connect With Others
To Form A Productive Team

Individual strengths can lead to a personal triumph,
But a team is greater than the sum of its parts.

Rich Karlgaard, Publisher of Forbes Magazine, recently wrote an article entitled “Teams Matter. Talent is Not Enough.”

In essence, it is a challenge for executives to find and exploit the “magic” of team synergy.

The metrics of teaming now exist!  Even the most extraordinary individual effort is no substitute for great teamwork. Teaming metrics are key to improving selection, increasing engagement, and vastly reducing new-hire turnover, all with measurable business value.

With TGI Teamability:
PMs will be able to create extremely strong teams.

In this introduction you will learn:

  • A completely new technology will help you understand why talented, experienced people do not always “team” well with others.
  • How to reduce the costs and risks associated with errors in hiring and promoting,
    • Metrics and methods that measure and predict “teaming” behaviors.
    • How to effectively analyze and solve team performance problems.
  • How to deliver significant business value by matching people to the functional mission of their team
    • The ‘who fits where’ and the ‘why’ of winning teams
    • Behaviors that impact quality of team interaction and ‘fit’ to job responsibilities
  • How it possible to reliably select high quality team players, and to match their job responsibilities to the way they envision themselves serving their team (their “Role”).

This is a MUST TAKE opportunity to help you understand the strengths of your team members placing them in the roles that will make your projects even more successful!

One disheartening aspect of the role of the Project Manager,

Is “Project Failure”

Senior IT and business leaders have grown weary of the project failure epidemic, and are now looking to individual Projects Managers (PM)s and the Project Management Office (PMO) to do something about it. This webinar features essential advice on how you can.

Some reasons for project failure are easy to name, but this webinar reveals the 10 hidden causes of project failure that lie just under the radar of most Project Managers. Hidden problems that continue to sabotage project teams day after day.

In this webinar, you’ll learn how to spot these 10 hidden reasons, and you’ll also discover effective, proven solutions for overcoming each one.

Here’s a sneak peek of the 10 hidden reasons revealed in the webinar:

  • Hidden Reason #3: Requirements errors actually getting approved and slipping into development unnoticed
  • Hidden Reason #6: Your team members being “fuzzy” on the details of your project (even though you’ve likely never heard them admit it)
  • Hidden Reason #10: Expecting agile to ‘cure’ the problem
